Wisconsin Science Festival

SCIENCE FESTIVAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR EDUCATORS
The Wisconsin Science Festival is for everyone, especially teachers, who inspire curiosity in the youth they work with every day. Explore the many ways to connect elementary, middle and high school classes with the incredible science happening across Wisconsin:
Field Trips to UW–Madison
Every year, schools can visit the Discovery Expo and/or several locations throughout UW–Madison to experience hands-on, interactive science for K-12 students. Activities and itineraries can be planned for student groups of any size or age.
Transportation reimbursement: Once registration is open, limited funds will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to offset transportation costs associated with bringing your group to UW–Madison for the Wisconsin Science Festival.

Participate in the Statewide Science Experience
The Wisconsin Science Festival partners with the Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s “Reimagine the Science Fair” project to create the Statewide Science Experience. This year, we will be helping launch a project to investigate water quality around Wisconsin. Stay tuned for activity guides and your chance to contribute.

Host an Event at Your School – We Can Help
Grassroots science events are at the heart of the festival, and we are eager to help you host an event in your community. We encourage events of all types, from a school science expo/family science night to a stroll through your school forest or events in conjunction with other local organizations.
