Dino Days, Saturday, March 7maM

  • Fossil Casting

Take a trip back in time as we transform into a variety of dinosaurs, 10:30–11 a.m. in the Celebrations Room
  • Dinosaur Exploration Stations
There is always more to explore when it comes to elusive dinosaurs, 12–4:30 p.m. in the Celebrations Room
  • DinoRamaRama
Create a mini box dinosaur diorama, 1–3 p.m. in the Art Classroom
  • Dino Prints
Step into the footprint of a dinosaur! Can you fit? How many friends do you need to help you fill up the footprint? All day on the First Floor
  • Dinosaur Thumb Print Art
Our thumbs might not be as cool as iguanodons’ thumb spikes, but we can still use them for awesome things like making dinosaur art, all day in the Art Studio
  • Measure a Dino
Stretch out our spools to see how long a few favorite dinosaurs really were! All day in Possible-opolis

Activities for hatchlings 5 and under:

  • Dino Bath Time
Even dinosaurs need to get clean! Come scrub and dunk our dino chicks and reinforce how important bath time is for all warm-blooded critters. 10 a.m.–4 p.m. in the Wildernest
  • Meltosaurus
We’ll practice fine motor skills while freeing dinosaurs trapped in ice!, 2–3 p.m. in the Rooftop Clubhouse

Dino Days: The Evolution (with more feathers), Sunday, March 8

Can’t make it to Dino Day on Saturday? Some of our favorite dino-themed activities will survive extinction and continue into Sunday for a second day of dinosaur inspired fun.

  • Taste of Tech: Dinosaur Sculpting with 3D Pens
Come and play with 3D pens; trace dinosaur images, make your own prehistoric sculptures, and get an idea of how to use 3D technology. 12–1:30 p.m. in the Art Studio Classroom.
  • Prehistoric Stop Motion Animation
Try your hand at stop-motion animation! We will be experimenting with dinosaur action figures, clay, prehistoric backdrops and more to make our own short video on an iPad. This digital storytelling process is great for building fine motor skills, developing patience and stretching our creativity. 2:30–4 p.m. in the Art Studio Classroom.
