Free Family Night – Wisconsin Science Festival Kickoff Party

November 1, 2017 @ 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

On the first open Wednesday night of each month, MCM invites our entire community to enjoy the museum for free. Free Family Night is a great time for first time visitors to enjoy the museum, and is a popular time for older children to return to visit their favorite exhibits.

Tonight we celebrate the Wisconsin Science Festival, which offers free science activities for kids and adults throughout the state Nov. 2-5. Tonight’s kickoff party includes hands-on exploration stations presented by Adult Role Models in Science, Madison Herpetological Society, UW Neuroscience Training Program, UW Plant Pathology, Edgewood College Science Ambassadors, MCM Taste of Tech, UW Insect Ambassadors, and a glassworking demonstration by Tracy Drier of the UW Chemistry Department.

The mission of the Wisconsin Science Festival is to inspire and engage us all in the enterprise of science and discovery; to cultivate curiosity and communicate the power of knowledge and creativity to change our world view; to promote innovation and to cultivate the next generation of global citizens. MCM is proud to be a programming partner of The Wisconsin Science Festival.

Presented in collaboration with Wisconsin Science Festival.
