Bird & Nature Outing @ Edna Taylor

March 23, 2019 @ 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Season Creep’s Con’s (and Pro’s) with Alex Singer ~ Take a nature hike with Master Naturalist Alex Singer from the Aldo Leopold Nature Center through the ponds and woodlands of beautiful Edna Taylor Conservation Park on Madison’s southeast side. As the effects of climate change are finally noticed by more and more people, a frog in the cauldron is the earlier advent of Spring and the delaying of Autumn. Learn about the mostly negative aspects of Season Creep. Differences in the customary changes of temperature and precipitation can positively and negatively affect plants and animals in ways we’re only realizing as they play out in real time and exposed via long term research.
